Oh they're certainly re-jigged - have been for as long as I can remember

for the usual reasons as you say. e.g. we ALWAYS play someone from the South or South East on Boxing Day and New Years fixtures.

It's when that initial list comes out that
TV increasingly flex their muscles I guess.
