The whole thing has been so orchestrated, I mean what politician in their right mind would

come out and say, even if your tank is half full it would be prudent to top it up. Along with filling up any jerry cans.

The econony is close (if not already) to going into a technical recession, many people get paid this week, and you need them to spend some of that money before Sunday.

I can see the scene being played out in a Yes Minister style...
