I think the problem is the vast increase in wages which stopped Aberdeen signing S Hughes and S Smith.

We may have to end up canceling contracts by mutual agreement to get clubs to sign the players outside the window.

Champs clubs have the loan system so arent as desperate to sign players in the window these days.
