Chris Hughton wasnt appointed Brum manager until June 22nd

3rd of July this story suggested EC had been apointed at Chelsea.

So it would seem that it wasnt the job he was lined up for?

Im guessing the job has been offered to someone else so he had to scramble to find a new job.

Hmmmm, any insiders know the back story here?
