derpends on the category of pie

your pork pie should be eaten cold. although they eat them hot up north i know, but we can easily discount that s**t for obvious reasons.

sausage rolls, although not strictly a pie, are ok to eat cold when they are small but once they have grown into full blowner sausage rolls then those should be eaten hot.

pasties are better hot but can burn your gob and tend to have a higher crumble co-efficient and can make a right mess of your white suit.

so, lukewarm would appear to be the way ahead pie wise.
