i was remarking to my good lady about how it seemed that norfolk people were a bit lazy
when it came to naming things. i offered the following examples as evidence:
school lane
the new inn
straight rd
church rd
etc etc
it appears that this is not just endemic to norfolk but can be found right across the country: User Posted Link
