Decent signing for them IF (big if) he stays fit and out of trouble. Don't think anyone in the Prem or mounting a serious promotion challenge would be wise to do so.
But what I see as being a bit mad is that he's signed a 2-year contract on wages which must be considerable, at 32 with a history of injury. Last pay day ?
I'd have thought it was a good signing if 1) he hadn't got pissed out in Slovenia and 2) if they'd done it on a pay-per-game deal. But they've really set themselves up for an expensive ornament which they can't get rid of.
