Tonight was a disgrace and i'm appalled

Well, that was bitterly disappointing. I took my kids and my parents and we were all really excited as it's the first time as a family that we have attended. My little boy is seven and I even bought him the full strip to wear. My little girl wanted to come too as she is a big Wes Hoolahan fan.
My Dad has been going for fifty years and never has he seen such a disinterested and shambolic performance. It was awful. Suffice to say he won't be going again. He is 70 this year.
My little boy then cried when it went 3-0 and then 4-0. How am I to explain to a seven year old that this is a Carling Cup game and that the players don't care. It's like being a driving instructor and turning up and picking up the pupil and then getting out of the car. The car wouldn't go far, because i've gone on strike.
I am divorced now and can see the bigger picture now, but my kids can't. This means the world to them and tonight the players didn't bother to make an effort.
My Dad even chucked his footy programme into the Wensum. He was going to give it to his neighbour, a dear six year old boy who hasn't decided whether he wants to cheer on Norwich or follow Manchester Utd. Our kids are the future and it's important we keep them supporting Norwich City Football Club.
Tonight went some way in damaging that and I am quite frankly appalled!!!
