And yes what about the lino? Agreed. One of the Caps who gets the train is a member of a local referees society and he's mentioned to me that some refs want minimal help from the lino in decisions and only use them for offsides. Whether this applies at a lower level or higher up the the refs ladder, who knows? Maybe Swarbrick is one of those refs or he was convinced in what he saw.
