Mine is this. What if Norwich had capitalised on it's position

of second city of England and European capital of the wool trade back in the middle ages. With a bit of foresight the City elders could have used their immense wealth generated by the wool trade and, instead of building far too many churches, diversified into up and coming industries thereby ensuring that Norwich remained one of the major commercial centres in Europe long into the future.

This would have undoubtedly lead to Norwich being a modern metropolis that had been at the centre of the industrial revolution instead of Manchester with the result that we would now be endeavouring to win our 20th League Title and be sitting on 3 Champions League Wins.

Damn those City elders of the middle ages. Damn them.

Makes you think doesn't it?
