My own feeling is..........

Everyone is expecting the Diamond but he now has the players to give him width in a 4-4-2 (or 4-4-1-1)

Plus he has Pilkington off the bench.

I also think he wants to let the players get into the game a bit by giving the back 4 more defensive cover with Johnson and Fox.

He still has the option of switching it around from the bench based on how the game is going.

A draw wouldnt be a bad result.

If you can average a point a game away from home in the PL thats normally good enough for mid table at least.
