I had some sad news yesterday...

My dear old Nana, in her late nineties passed away. She was from the east end of London, salt of the earth type, born into poverty and worked hard to get out. She was full of many great sayings and wisdom and for years I had missed talking to her as she suffered from Dementia and knew little of what was going on.

I am flying back to England on Monday and the funeral the following Monday. After almost exactly 1 year since I moved out here it will be good to catch up with friends and family even though it's not under sad circumstances .
