Depends on our ambition.

If our goal is to stabalize the club finacially while giving our selves a realistic chance of avoiding relegation then..... probably not too many players to add.

At CB we have lost Nelson and Askou is almost ceratinly done.

That would leave Barnett, Ward and Whitbread

Obviously another quality CB is needed, wouldnt be against signing Edwards who seems like he has a great attitude about his position.

Outside of that spending some money on a quality CB might be great investment.

If you look at our one major weakness this season its been shipping goals.
As much as people hate stats they dont lie.

Good defending can take you a long way even against world class players.

In midfiled we need a quality right sided player.

No secret Lambert has been after Elliot Bennet

If we decide to go with the diamond in the PL we also have to sign someone like Dani Pecheco who can be used as either cover for hoolahan or in his place if Wes moves to the left.
King Kenny is having an Anfield clearout in the summer so I think we have good chance of signing Dani.

Up front. I am guessing Wilbraham doesnt make the cut.
Oli Johnson probably out on loan or maybe sold.
The club may decide to cash in on Cody McDonald if Lambert doesnt think he is ready for the prem.

You have to think we might be looking for two more strikers.
With at least one big target man like a Danny Graham or Sam Vokes
With maybe a different option like Shane Long.

If our striking options were Holt, Jackson, Graham and Long (plus SCM) that would be really really strong and gives us a realistic chance of staying up.
