Can't Understand Some Of Our Fans...

Where has this complete and utter impatience come from?

We're playing the sort of football that is a delight to watch, the players have confidence, they (as megson says) all want the ball, no-one is hiding and we are in a great position as a result...yet there are now cries of "get it forward", as in humping and hoofing it high for that 6'6" targetman, Jackson, to presumably get his head on (!) and sighs of discontent at every misplaced pass. Amazing!

Was chatting to Mark Barham last week, he said they would regularly get booed off the pitch at half time in the 85/86 promotion season if things weren't going exactly to plan! Times never change!
