Spoke to Mark Lawrensen about Norwich at The England Bulgaria match a couple of months ago

First thing to say is (surprisingly) what a thoroughly nice person he was, he spoke to me and my son for a while outside Wembley and during this time signed loads of autographs and promised to give time to everyone, the best football person I have ever witnessed with fans.

He asked how I thought we would do this year and I said he would be seeing a lot more of us on MOTD next year' 'Are you serious?' he enquired. I told him we would surprise him, he seemed certain that mid table was a good result for us though our manager was excellent..... I would love to replay that conversation to him now to see if he has changed his views.
