I am the Operations Manager for an Oil and Gas industry service company in Aberdeen. Transocean UK are one of our major clients.

The UK Oil industry in general are apalled at the way BP have been scapegoated by the US Govt over the Deepwater Horizon disaster.

It is common knowledge that there were major faults with the well on the part of both Transocean and Haliburton. Unless the truth is buried as many suspect it will be, both the above US companies have alot to answer for.

Note the BOP for the rig was recovered and quarantined by the US Govt - ever wondered why???
