I'd try out the texting on the Samsung Galaxy S....

...the Swype texting is what swayed me to go for it. I avoided the Iphone 4 because I've already got an Ipod Touch so it seemed pointless to basically get the same thing twice.

Personally I really like the Galaxy. Take a wander into Phones 4 U and try one out. The swyping takes a little getting used to but on the whole is pretty damn accurate in working out what you've typed. At times it might annoy you but it's still a lot easier than typing each individual letter in like you do on the Iphone.
