Am I the only person who thought...

Michael Turner made a right t**t of himself backheeling the ball to the Sunderland keeper who was stood 20 yards away and because the referee was running upfiield (indicating his assumption that the next player to strike the ball would actually be taking the free-kick), he only has himself to blame?

The referee is getting flamed for this one and I think it's close to 50-50.
