Well not really a stat more of an interesting, and personal oddity.

He is the only player I have ever seen who has scored during the singing of OTBC right on cue.

It was t'hum I can't remember who aganst. We were comfortably winning the match, it was the year we got promoted straight back up 85-86.

The barclay was in full voice, the game was petering out to a routine home win.

"Steady on" Ball played to our rigt winger, think it was Barham that day, he crosses as "nows your chance" is sung, BOOOOOOOM Bertie bangs it in and everyone goes mental and doesn't sing Hurrah you've scored a goal.
