I supported Wigan once

It was only for a day. When I was a lad Dad took me to see the FA Trophy Final (might have even been the FA Amateur); it was back in the very early 1970's.

They were playing Scarborough. We decided to support Wigan, it might have been because their kit was similar to our local non-league team Wealdstone.

All I recall is that Scarborough won 2-1 in extra time and they had a huge goalkeeper.

And nowadays Wigan are in the Prem and Scarborough are no longer in existence (?)
