Just got back - ratings

Ruddy - 7 solid saves and excellent distribution, especially the quick throws over hooooooge distances
Martin - 7 Solid enough, misjudged a couple of headers but fine
Barnett - 7 as above, solid tackles just a few misplaced balls
Ward - 7 Again as above
Drury - 7 much better than at Donny, they attacked him and he looked solid, he got forward and generally looked back his solid self
Crofts - 7 early contender for player fo the season a score of 7 is testiment to how good he is, he was again great, chased everywhere and dominated a rather poor russell

Wes - 9 Fantastic game by the wee wizard (we love Wes Hoolahan and if it's quite alright chant to make an appearance) he was everywhere, the most pleasing was his tackling for me, we all know about his skills and vision but he was everywhere today
Smith - 7 similar to Crofts solid without excelling
Lappin - 10 KoS was amazing today, he supported wes and co exceptionally with briloliant balls into the box everytime, has Barnett finished better KoS would have had many assists today, best moment was a chrunching slide tackle in our penalty area, a flawless display
Martin 7 - Ran about and tried a few pot shots
Holt - 8 This is an 8 for an unfit holt, he still looks a little sluggish but he was miles better than Tuesday, chased more and was much more of a threat, he took his goal well and was unlucky when he chased their keeper down. He clearly tired towards the end and started making mistakes he also took a heavy knock to the ankle and had to be subbed hope it's nothing

Jackson and Gill didn't have enough time to impact but SJ is begining to show the flair that we paid the money for.

Preston fans not great £5 and only 18k there doesn't bode well and they were singing Fergie out by the end.

The police were over zealous, the usual banter between rival fans lead to a dozen of ours being moved to another part of the stand following complaints by Norwich fans (we heard the rozzers say this which was wierd) and then they removed a Nodge fan who had been getting abuse for the PNE fans all game for not a lot, leaving his son alone in the stand in tears - we were not amused and the Police wouldn't even acknowledge us,

The reports that we had only sold 1400 yesterday must have been off as the away end was pretty much full and it supposedly holds 3000
