germans do haf a zense of humour ....

some friends of my dad were caravanning in germany and had parked up at a site next to a river. they crossed a little footbridge and found a bar/restaurant and had a very enjoyable evening and after a few bears made their way back over the bridge toward their caravan but it had been pissing it down and the field was half flooded. the german fire brigade had been called to help pump it out. the intrepid english folk decided to take their shoes and socks off and wade back to the other side of the field where they were situated. as they were plodding through the water the german fire truck driver switched on his tannoy and said........

"QUACK QUACK!!"
