I think I may haveof discovered why my car insurance quote is so high.

Apparently it was imported from Holland by a squaddie originally, although it is identical to the same models sold in this country.
It seems many companies wont insure imports.
If I run the same quote without putting in my registration number, it is a fair bit less.
Presumbly, as they all now have access to the DVLA database, I can't get round that one.
