a "Reality Check"?

Talking QPR here.
After their relegation to the old "Third" division-like ours, unexpected and accompanied by much unrest at the club and fan pressure and criticism...

...they were promoted back to the Championship in the same season (2003/04) that we went up to the Prem.

Now, seven seasons on, they look to have a manager, squad, and structure within the club that might just take them to the next level.
Yep, seven years of "finding themselves"-getting the right Manager, squad, backroom, board and financial set-up.
And we're "meant" to come up from League 1 and just waltz our way back to the Premiership? And losing at Doncaster is reasoning for doom and gloom?

I'll not only take, I'll gladly accept mid-table this season. 10th place? Fine, thankyou and check please.

The thing to add is, with our current Manager and squad, we might not need seven years to get back into the Prem. We might do it earlier. We might do it this season. But I'll tell you one thing Mr Selwyn-we're not going down this season, and that, after the last two, three campaigns in the Championship, when that was a real possibility and fear. Thats a bonus. Bring on Preston and OTBC...
