For the information of these charming characters, and anyone else that is interested (although why I can't imagine) I decided a couple of weeks ago - for reasons that have precisely nothing to do with this website - not to be "friends" (or the various equivalents) with anyone on the internet who I don't actually know in real life. That's on Facebook, Twitter, Last FM or anything else. Nothing personal, nothing to do with any of you, even Mr Johnson.

As far as the board goes since Messrs Bowkett and McNally have been saying what loads of us have been thinking for years it seems fairly pointless to keep going on about what went on when Cooper and then Doncaster were running the club.

As far as the RG Carter thing goes - I don't know. And I don't have the facility to dig - but what would be the point? The decision makers have gone. My only observation would be that "cover-pricing" certainly doesn't seem to have been going on when the South board fell.
