Had no real problem with that today

the run rate was good enough that i am not sure it would have made much of a difference.

I guess the thinking was that they would have been more likely to have lost the wickets quicker if they had taken it earlier and if Bres and Wright had batted through they would have had fun with it at the end with wickets in hand or if they were out the last few batsmen would have had more chance of getting a couple of runs as opposed to be strangled out of the game.
