Based on the fact Blowkett already warned Gunn that it's a "results based business".........
If we lose or draw on tues and lose on Saturday I could see them bringing someone in before the window closes...
If we wait too long then any new manager will be back to loans if we want to make changes.
I don't think Gunn makes it back to CR for the next home game without some decent results.
The atmosphere would be beyond bad.
The worrying thing is that I think we actually do have the quality in the squad to do well.......
Failure would almost certainly be down to lack of organisation not squad quality.
If we looked totally s**t in pre-season then I would call for his head now but we looked pretty good........not one person said we were terrible in those games.
Some will claim those games against Man UTD (res) Palace and Wigan were not competitive but there were many many quality players on both sides who were trying to impress.
Anyone claiming anything else is stupid.
FWIW I am not trying to downplay how horrific saturday was.
I am just so mystified how a team can look so good and then turn so bad in one game?
I actually feel for Gunn, The guy looked totally shell shocked........as we all were.
Part of me likes the Dunkirk spirit where your worst moment can sometimes be your finest hour.......
I really hope Bryan can turn it around and start to win back the fans.
