Spent yesterday morning (and much of pre-season) trying not to get overconfident but looking forward to a new chapter in NCFCs history, one where we as supporters could feel proud of our club, team etc & forget the recent past. Met my 2 boys at the ground & they were full of hope & excitement (they are 10 &12) they proudly waved their flags and joined me and 24,000 others in a rousing chorus of 'On The Ball City' The following events as you all know where undeserving to the majority of people in the ground, I feel totally shiocked at what happened & haven't looked at Sky, a newspaper or anything football related since, have discussed the game with my kids but we can't beleive it.
Have spent today doing trying not top think about it done gardening, cleaned garage out been out out bike (kids back at their Mum's so couldn't get away with beach) arrived back home and....
Am still bloody fuming!
Feel sorry for everyone who supports the club like we do, especially the 2 guys who ran onto the pitch - some may say that their actions were wrong but I can fully understand their anger & frustration, enough is enough, I have scrolled back through today's posts & feel that most people who were there felt like doing the same, they have probably supported the club through thick & thin for mant years and now will be unable to.
Sorry don't have any answers just an empty feeling of being let down & humiliated.
