I can't see yesterday being a one off

Ok, we might not lose 7-1 every week but from the first whistle you could see such a dramatic step down in quality even from last season.

Now a large number of you have had your summer bubbles burst maybe you'll now be able to accept that we've assembled a cheap squad of League 1/League 2 rejects.

Its all well and good buying young and hungry players from the lower divisions but the ones worth having require money. You can't just sign middle aged rejects that no one else wants and expect to compete.

As you can see from the list below, not one of these signings can be considered young or up and coming. We've simply signed a bunch of players that have never made it.

Gunny isn't the right man for the job but its obvious that the main problem we face is a complete lack of investment coupled with a board that only seem capable of wasting what little money they have on failing managers and players.
