I just think

we knew that we wouldn't be able to lure in great players in our current position. But we seem to have managed to lure in players who are where they are for a reason. I think people wanted us to go down the 'young league 1/2' players route.

We wouldn't have done well in the loan market this year anyway.

THere's no easy answer, but I'm fairly certain that I questioned why we were getting excited about a quantity of unknown qualities in our signing.
