Football's a funny old game

I noticed that some Celtic fans, I wouldn't say turned on him but questioned Mowbray's decision to play 'long' for the final 20 mins last night because it's not the Celtic way. It draws comparisons on how fans expect NCFC should play, in that we have this theory that all City teams must pass the ball and play pretty football, there are many teams who one would associate with passing football (Arsenal,Ipswich,West Ham etc) and many who tend to go longer and thats excepted (Rangers,Bolton,Stoke), anyway after all this rambling would supporters be happy if we played like Stoke but got results quicker (for a limited time) or played 'better football' and waited for the team to gel?
