Grant was a "tough-tackling midfielder" how did that go?
Worthington was a vanilla, pre-90s British full-back but got us to the play-offs and title. Not sure what someone's style as a player has to do with it to be honest.

Bryan Robson was a bit of a midfield hardman wasn't he? And how tough and successful were his teams.
