Gunning For Gunny Already?

So what players has Bryan Gunn criticised in public, apart from all of them?

He has not singled out or identified any individual player for criticism but has merely 'stated the bleeding obvious' that the the team as a whole has let people down. We have all witnessed it, week in and week out; the whole soul of the club being diminished and threatening to disappear down the plug hole at the bottom of this division.

I think that Gunny is drawing the proverbial line under what has gone before. In other words, let's start again, albeit late in the day and salvage something, such as pride, passion & belief that we all can take forward into Saturday's match.

The catalyst for the future is how the team on the pitch responds. A positive response by the players will be met ten-fold by the fans.

We won't win every game that we play but we need to win enough to stay up in this division this season. Then we move on again.

I don't think that Gunny was wrong in this instance. I say we should give him some respect for taking on this hugely important responsibility at this critical time in the club's existence.
