We never make illegal approaches for managers/players etc, its not 'nice'.
Plus if we did, how could Doncaster keep his FA job if he's breaking the rules himself?

THerefore, even if all we wanted to do was find out if he'd be willing to help out a younger manager on a part time basis, we'd have approached the irish FA first.
