A beautiful revenge

That's what the powers that aren't have enabled Mr Worthington to take tonight. He must be laughing - and why not? It also throws a rather different light on all those "wonderful club, great people to work for" platitudes he and so many others always produce. How many people in football actually think rather different: that we're run by complete incompetents who aren't waving, but drowning?

The day he left, Delia gave an interview in which she couldn't understand why a team playing well a few weeks earlier could've just collapsed. "Why? Why is football like that?" You just know they STILL haven't worked out why it went wrong - and hence, have no clue what to look for in the next man. Who'd work for a club like this?
