In defence of Worthy
I hate the way he is grouped in with s**t managers like grant, hamilton and roeder.
He came in when the club was in even worse state than now with Hamiltons follies all contarcted. He got the club away from relegation. The following season to a penalty shoot out in the play-offs, next season champions, stillout of the bottome 3 going into the last day having spent very little. Next season 9th, disappointing but it happens : leeds, coventry, southampton, leicester etc. The following season it fell apart and he had to go.
I don't advocate getting him back, I think the lack of unity would be damaging but he should not be remembered in the same light as the terminally incompetent.
