My thoughts on sacking Roeder.

I was one of the people over the past few weeks that thought he should be given a chance based on the fact that I thought he did a great job in keeping us up.
He did a good job of shipping out the dead wood and bringing in new players.

The problem is his ruthless streak is also his greatest handicap as well.
His interaction with the fans has been frankly horrific.
He has made many many mistakes in handling the hucks affair.
Everything from the way he let him go to the "training bulls**t"
You had better be bigger than the legend to disrepect a legend.
Thats the stuff you can get away with at the top of the table.

One part of me thinks GR should have been given more time but in all honesty as I said last night if the board are think of sacking GR they should do it now.
The finally got something right IMHO.
They have to give the new manager some of the window to bring in players he wants.

As I said last night after the game it was 100% certain GR was being sacked. No doubt in my mind.

Any manager will say that the fans will tell you when to go. They spoke last night. They had seen enough.
A huge red flag to the board was that many stayed away and voted with their wallets.

I think Neil Adams summed up last night by saying we have decent quality in the squad but lack ideas.

Hopefully a new manger will have the honeymoon effect and bring some positive energy back into the club.
Sacking Roeder isn't the answer to most of the long term problems at the club but its what is probably needed in the short term.

We just CANNOT get relegated. We have to forget how we feel about the board and get behind the club and new manager.
