agree with that too, appointing a football manager has to be a nightmare

you've not really got a clue what's going to happen at a club like ours.

For Man Utd, when ferguson retires its got to be easier, they'll have their pick of people with proven records. Still a gamble element, but whoever gets it WILL be good. He might not be right but he'll be good.

For us, its a punt on a prospect lower down, a good coach (grant) or a more seasoned manager sacked from his last job (Roeder).
How are you supposed to get that right?
I wouldn't want to do it (actually, yes I would).
