I've not yet seen any of these but would personally choose either The Wrestler or Rev Rd.

The Wrestler might be good if you have seen and enjoyed any of darren Aronofsky's previous films, particuarly Requiem For A Dream. I'd see Rev Rd on the basis that Sam Mendes made it and American Beauty is one of my favourite films. Road To Perdition was also good. Of the two, I'm more likely to see Rev Rd first.
