Nothing that Dennis says really holds up for this very reason - he's not at all consistent. He says that Ince and Jewel did badly in the Prem, but Roeder didn't exactly do well in the top flight, and nor did Worthy, who Dennis backed too.

He's far too chummy with the Smiths to have any validity as a journalist. If Waggers insists on featuring his articles he should at least have someone like Balls to tell the other side of the story.
