I see Vital Football have back-tracked a bit......

Confusion surrounded Antoine Sibierski's future this evening.

Our friends up at Vital Wigan reported earlier this afternoon that the 34-year-old Frenchman had joined the Canaries on a free transfer.

Two hours later though and a report on My Football Writer suggested that he hadn't completed a move at all.

One sentence in the Manchester Evening News appears to have started the ball rolling:

Wigan have allowed forward city striker Antoine Sibierski to join Norwich City following a loan spell at Carrow Road.

Sibierski is out of contract at the JJB in the summer, and it wouldn't be a huge surprise if he did sign (even if it wouldn't exactly inspire many), but until it is announced officially we'll just have to wait and see.
