As I've said a million times

no-one knows what would happen with a new manager. Watford had changed managers a few times then found Boothroyd and got promoted. Crystal Palace are constantly changing managers yet got promoted by doing so.

There is no clear cut right or wrong way of doing it. Stability is only a good thing if you have the right manager.
