Glad to hear it

For the record - while the newsworthiness of John Travolta's son's death admittedly pales in to comparison when put next to the events in Uganda, this is no excuse to run it down. If someone on here decides to highlight it then I see no reason to be disrespectful. Recognition of one person's death does not equate to ignorance of thousands of others. And this doesn't mean I agree with the Beeb's editorial policy on entertainment stories - I spent the past four months abroad with the BBC website as my main source of news from Britain and I was astonished by the level of coverage given to stories like John Whatshisname resigning from Strictly Do Somethingorother.
