It's not all about loving your club and being a loyal supporter. When there's tough economic/household choices to be made, it's obviously hard to justify shelling out even the basic 300 quid, let alone a grand or more for extra family, transport etc - and if the "product" is so regularly unenjoyable then it's ever more understandable that people choose not to renew.
