My first non-Norwich match was England v Nigeria in 1994.

At the decrepit old Wemberlee. Neil Ruddock was playing for England, and Efan Ekoku came on for Nigeria. A Nigerian fan promised some kids from my school and me his wife, house and car if Nigeria won. He disappeared at half-time and we never saw him again, or got his stuff.

I also went to the Danish Cup Final in 2006, and the Santiago Bernabeu stadium to watch Real Madrid v Getafe in 2007 - Beckham was immense, as were the Ultras singing their songs about Juanito.
