Thing is that his argument carries no weight

no-one thinks that constant changes of manager does any good. But it's what happens in the modern game. The only managers who stick around are those that are any good, or just happen to get on with the players at a club.

If you have the misfortune to appoint bad managers then they can't be left to run a club into the ground. We were right to get rid of Grant, because he'd clearly lost the plot. Roeder had a golden 15 games and it saved us, but after that we were dreadful.

This season has been more like the end of last season than the 15-game run, and Roeder is clearly not the best man manager, which explains his initial success at clubs before he's found out.

No-one with any sense can say, unequivocally, that he's the man for the job because he's done what he's doing here at every club he's ever been at. That cannot be a coincidence.

As things stand, we have lost four from five, including a Forest team full of kids, who lost 4-2 to Doncaster at home - and we deserved to lose it! The fans have turned, most of he players who were here before Roeder can't stand the bloke because of the way he's treated them, and unless he somehow turns this team into one that even looks like winning in the next two or three games, then he's got to go!
