I really apologise

if this is repetition but I am genuinely puzzled by the people who say 'How is this Roeder's fault?'

Other managers (Coyle, Grayson, Warnock, Irvine, Sturrock, Laws) work with similar situations (and often far less support) but achieve significantly more.

Why? Because they are actually managers capable of getting the best out of their players. The most damning thing about our current regime is that most people say the quality of the players is higher than, say, a year ago. Well if that's true then the people responsible for organising them and motivating them must be to blame for our appalling lack of results. You just can't have it both ways..if Roeder gets credit for improving the squad he must take the blame for failing to get them to perform.

He is a very poor manager of men. Indisputable.

What also really annoys me is this myth that we have had to loan people because there are no quality players available. Yet other teams find them. The fact is Roeder cannot take lower league players and make them better (like, say, Warnock) so he tries to get ready made 'Premier League' players on loan. But then they come under his spell and that's the end of that.

Finally..if he is a good manager (and, to be honest, I genuinely find it astonishing that, in spite of all the facts, some people still say he is) why can't we perform away from home? It is just so boring hearing him spout the fortnightly crap about how it shouldn't make any difference where we play etc etc. then we go away and get beaten..again and again and again. To me that's what marks out the reallly good managers - they get their teams 'up for it' away from home (the fans tend to do it at home) and they are tough to break down. We are crap away and that's all there is to it.

Why? Because nobody is motivated by such a dull, arrogant, tactically inept know-all.
