Used to be common back in the days when a mainframe computer was the size of a room.
Obviously the actual wet bits don't touch the electrickery.
Seems to be used only for very high end kit these days, or by hobbyist overclockers (these are the people that get stiffies over an extra nth of a hertz out of a cpu).
