Do you know anything about the GPS software on the iPhone 3G?
I'd be happy with the sat nav functions on my N95 if they weren't so bloody expensive (and if the GPS unit wasn't so s**t). You can use the gps and sat nav to get directoins and that for ?0, but if you want turn-by-turn instructions, and the sort of fly-though view you get with most sat nav things (like a tom tom) you have to pay through the nose for it.
Any idea what the iPhone 3G is going to have?
