Jesus - I'm not even supporting the protest!

I do, though, see it as harmless - and think any fan has the right to do as they wish. They also have the right to fear the worst based on Roeder's record, and take all the talk of Premiership loan signings with a major pinch of sodium chloride until they a) actually arrive; and b) do the business on the park.

I expect any reasonable 'protest type' would argue their aim is to put pressure on the board, and especially, publicise the state the club is in. That way, it could alert more and more people - and that's the way in which any protest throughout history has ultimately achieved change. As I said, I'm not in favour, and regard Smudger as a self-aggrandising chump: I'm not going to castigate them for it either, though.
